Aaron’s Wish Tree of Honor
Honoring service. Remembering Sacrifice. Carrying hope forward.
Wednesday, December 9, 2026
6:30 - 8:30 PM
Independence Senior & Community Center
5409 Madison Pike, Independence, Ky.
This December, Aaron’s Wish will begin a new annual tradition honoring and remembering service members and veterans. Families and community members may sponsor a personalized ornament in honor or memory of someone who served. Each ornament will be added to the Tree of Honor as it is received, creating a growing tribute of service, sacrifice, love and remembrance.
The Tree of Honor will be displayed at our December remembrance ceremony and tree lighting. Proceeds from ornament sponsorships will support Aaron ‘s Wish Foundation’s military mental health education, family advocacy, and suicide prevention outreach.
Join us for a meaningful evening of remembrance, honor, and community. The Aaron’s Wish Tree of Honor will be displayed with personalized ornaments honoring and remembering service members and veterans.
The evening will include a short remembrance ceremony, tree lighting, a moment of silence, Christmas cookies, hot chocolate, coffee, and time for fellowship with military families, veterans, and community members.
The event will be free and open to the public. In the spirit of giving this holiday season, Aaron’s Wish Foundation will be collecting donated items for Welcome House to support veterans experiencing homelessness. Guests who would like to participate are invited to bring an item from the Welcome House wish list. Donations are completely optional and are not required to attend the event.
